not quite, Group A helped make the rules and regulations for nowadays rally but gorup B allowed car manufacturers to put all in to design of engines and other car parts without restrictions! therefore allowing companies to develop better tech for cars of the future including high compression engines, turbo/super chargers ETC

Group B is never coming back, forget about it. Especially these days with all the environmental concerns, engines and cars are getting smaller and less powerful all the time. Also manufacturers aren’t ready to spend big money into developing Grp B cars and homologating them. Manufacturers are pulling out of WRC with their current production hatchbacks already. Ford are pulling out next year, Mini pulled out as a factory team after barely a year in…
And I though I’ve seen everything about wrc on youtube… Great video! Miss those years, too bad I was busy with my growing up and didn’t enjoy it more when my Dad was really into it!
Subaru gets such BAD LUCK! tire choices are a game of luck, though with monto carlo I’d go studs.
Rally is an extreme sport and is so nerve racking!
the risks don’t always pay off, and damn these rules make the repairing so hard so these cars are tough if used correctly!
12.44 Jari Matti Latvala’s privateer Subaru!

The Group A helped to make the current World Rally Cars, not the Group B

when does this start talking about engineering instead of just the drama of the season?
rally is good, but they need to bring back the Group B, its what helped make rally cars today
