Funny thing about the 512BB LM, it had a boxer engine(to lower the center of gravity) but they had to place the gearbox higher up in the car and it completely ruined the handling.

It’s actually a 180* V12. And yes, quite famously, Ferrari did get it wrong when they named the 512. Something they’ve held their hands up to many times.
Yes and no. Yes, it’s a 180* flat 12, and not a true Boxer, but essentially calling him ignorant of his engines opens up a can of worms- The 365 GT/4BB, 512BB and 512BBi’s were called Berlinetta BOXERS by the factory- do they also not know what they are talking about?
Looks like a pretty original Testarossa, shame he doesn’t know his engines. The engine isn’t a “boxer” it’s a 180* V12, it is flat though, he got that bit right.

this is true. but most establishments will allow a refusal if car is not as described. most reputable dealers/sellers will anyways. bought a 2002 mercedes s500 on ebay in 2005. had a written right of refusal upon delivery, if not as described.
